Experiencing GRC and feeling vulnerable is a common experience for many men and so continued research on vulnerable men or “men at risk” is important.
GRC research has focused on specific groups of vulnerable men as shown in the figure below. This file lists references on 14 groups including: adolescent boys & high school students, police officers & fire fighters, homeless & incarcerated men, athletes, fathers and sons, sex offenders, couples, older men, military men & veterans. The collective evidence on these groups indicated that GRC can be clinically relevant when helping men who are vulnerable and at risk.
